This shirt from the brand Maison Chateau Rouge was love at first sight. Everything about it just screams “Afropolitan”. The style, a unique take on the vintage American football jersey incorporating African Wax, the story about the brand and its namesake, Chateau Rouge, a neighbourhood located in the 18th arrondissement of Paris that is home to different businesses owned by African immigrants. Rather than wear it with denim, the maximalist in me decided to mix prints for a streetstyle worthy mismatch.
